The Focal Press Monthly Photography Contest is open to everyone -- it's simple and free to enter. Simply register and upload your photo! You can also vote on photos and forward this contest to your friends so they can vote.

The focus for February is WINTER WONDERLAND.

First and Second place winners will be chosen by the monthly guest judge. Third place winners will be chosen by popular vote. Third place winners will only be eligible to win once every four months (Jan-April, May-Aug, Sept-Dec).

Unless otherwise noted at the start of each month, First, Second and Third place winners will receive a Focal photography book as their prize and be entered to win one of our two grand prizes for the year. For more information on the prizes, see below.

2010 Grand Prizes

First Grand Prize (awarded to one of the winners from January-June 2010): Michael Freeman's Digital Photography Reference System, which includes a new Michael Freeman title, carrying case, DVD and much more! Stay tuned for details. Guest judge will be Michael Freeman.

Second Grand Prize (awarded to one of the winners from July-December 2010): Epson RX680 photo printer package and a copy of the best-selling The Photoshop Darkroom. Guest judges will be Harold & Phyllis Davis.

Only two photos per entrant per month.
