We want to see your best makeup designs whether they are aesthetically beautiful or teriffically gruesome! The Beauties and Beasts contest is open to everyone -- it's simple and free to enter. Simply register and upload your photo! You can also vote on photos and forward this contest to your friends so they can vote.

The title of 'Best Effects Makeup Design' will be chosen by the author of Special Makeup Effects for Stage and Screen, Todd Debreceni. The title of 'Most Glamorous Makeup Design' will be chosen by the author of The Makeup Artist Handbook, Gretchen Davis. The title of 'Most Popular Makeup Design' will be chosen by popular vote on focalpress.com.

The three winners of the honorable titles, "Best Effects Makeup Design", "Most Glamerous Makeup Design", and "Most Popular Makeup Design", will all win the sponsored book of their choice as well as a $50 gift card to the online cosmetic retailer of their choice. Additionally, all entrants will be entered into a raffle. Five entrants will be randomly chosen and will receive $25 to the online cosmetic retailer of their choice as well as a Focal Press book of their choice.
