Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2008 Monthly Photography Contest. In 2009, there are new themes, judges, prizes and several new rules. Focus

The focus of the January contest is LIGHT, sponsored by the Stoppees' Guide to Photography & Light.

Judges

This month's guest judge for our First and Second place winners will be Brian and Janet Stoppee.

Important note

In 2009, First and Second place winners will be chosen by the monthly guest judge. Third place winners and three honorable mentions will be chosen by popular vote. Third place winners are only eligible to win once in a four month period (Jan-Apr, May-Aug, Sept-Dec). First, Second and Third place monthly winners for Jan-April will be entered to win our First 2009 Grand Prize; monthly winners from May-Aug will be entered to win our Second 2009 Grand Prize; monthly winners from Sept-Dec will be entered to win our Third 2009 Grand Prize. You may upload up to two different photographs per month, but you will not be eligible to win more than one prize per month. You can only vote once for each picture.
