Jim is the Head of the Technical Theatre Program, Technical Director, and Lighting Designer for The Theatre Academy at Los Angeles City College. He has over 22 years of experience, designed lighting for over 300 productions, and has been recognized with two Emmy nominations and one team award. Jim’s work has been presented with several theatre design awards including the Drama Logue Award, a Los Angeles Theatre Critics Award and most recently, the Distinguished Achievement Award in Lighting from the United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
